Don't you deserve a Mommy Makeover?

If you’re a mom, you willingly make sacrifices for your children—but now your youthful figure doesn’t have to be one of them.

The two most common complaints among women who have had children are:

  • Sagging breasts or loss of breast volume, and

  • Stretch marks and/or loose skin over
    the abdomen.

As Mother’s Day approaches, why not think of doing something just for you? If you’ve been dreaming about turning back the clock and recapturing the figure you had before kids, it’s time to think about a Mommy Makeover.

What is a Mommy Makeover?

A Mommy Makeover is a combination of plastic surgery procedures aimed at restoring your figure to its pre-pregnancy shape. Your makeover is as individual as you are, and may include breast augmentation and/or a breast lift, a tummy tuck, liposuction, as well as surgical or non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Patient of the month

‘I’m so glad I did something for myself!’

Rachel, 34, a mother of two, never used to understand why anyone would spend money on plastic surgery. But when a friend who had a tummy tuck and a breast lift came over one day and Rachel saw the results, she soon reconsidered.

“I wanted to get something done for my saggy stomach,” she recalls. “And I had some unevenness in my breasts from breastfeeding. I figured if I were going to get a tummy tuck, I may as well get my breasts done, too.”

Dr. Parungao performed a tummy tuck and breast augmentation on Rachel, and she’s thrilled with
the results.

“I was a B cup in one breast and a C cup in the other,” she says. “Now I’m a firm D. And it’s incredible how flat my tummy is!

“I realize now that different things make different people happy. For me, it wasn’t clothes, it wasn’t jewelry, it wasn’t vacations. I have to be happy with myself first, and now I am.

“For the rest of my life, I’ll always be a mom and I’ll always have to put my children first,” Rachel explains. “A Mommy Makeover is the one thing in my life I had to do just for me. And I don’t think that was too much to ask for.”

Some women choose to have several procedures performed at the same time. Others prefer to have separate procedures 8 to 12 weeks apart.

After a Mommy Makeover, you’ll be thrilled as your jeans fit better, your breasts are more beautiful and you look in the mirror and see the figure you had before children.

Ask Dr. Parungao

How long after having a baby should I wait before having a Mommy Makeover?

You need to give your body a chance to fully recover from childbirth before undergoing plastic surgery. I recommend waiting six months. If you are breastfeeding, you should wait six months after weaning your baby before having surgery.
