Perhaps no other part of the body affects a woman's self-image more than her breasts. If you are not satisfied with your bustline, cosmetic breast surgery can do more than improve the size and shape of your breasts. Research has shown that cosmetic breast surgery has psychological benefits for many women, including increased self-esteem and pride in their appearance.
If you are considering cosmetic breast surgery, we invite you to schedule a personal consultation with Dr. Parungao. He will take the time to listen to your cosmetic surgery goals, answer your questions and advise you on the procedures that will help you achieve the outcome you desire.
There are three basic types
of cosmetic breast surgery procedures:
- Breast implant surgery, or augmentation mammoplasty, involves inserting silicone- or saline-filled implants in the breast to enhance the size and shape of the breasts. See our before and after photo gallery for examples.
- A breast lift, or mastopexy, raises the breasts and repositions the nipples to make the breasts firmer, higher and more youthful-looking. This procedure is sometimes performed in combination with breast implant surgery. See our before and after photo gallery for examples.
- Breast reduction or reduction mammoplasty, removes excess breast tissue and skin and repositions the nipples, bringing overly large breasts into better proportion to the rest of your body. See our before and after photo gallery for examples.
