Wishing for a fuller, more youthful bustline?

Implants restore volume
Women like Nancy have two challenges: breast sagging or ptosis (pronounced TOE sis) and lost volume. In cases like hers, breast lift surgery combined with breast implants—a procedure known as augmentation mastopexy—can produce a fuller, more youthful bustline.
How does augmentation mastopexy work?
In this combined outpatient procedure, the breasts are raised, the nipples are repositioned and the areolas (the darker skin surrounding the nipple) may be reduced in size. Then saline or silicone implants are added to increase breast volume. Nancy chose
saline implants.
Nancy's breast lift was done with what is called a “lollipop incision” that circles the areola and extends vertically to the crease under the breast. The implants are then inserted through a tiny incision under
each breast.
‘What a difference!’
“My results look so natural!” says Nancy. “I wanted my breasts to look natural—not like I'd had implants. I just wanted to go back to the way I looked when I
was younger.”
When Nancy tried on a bikini top, she really saw the difference. “My breasts look so much better!” she says. “I don't have to make my bikini top really tight anymore to give my breasts that boost.
“I've always put my family first,” says Nancy. “Plastic surgery is something I did just for me. I'm newly single, and when I think about starting to date again, I have more confidence now. I'm more comfortable in my own skin.”

FDA approves first
eyelash-growing treatment
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has just approved Latisse, the first and only prescription treatment to make eyelashes grow longer, fuller and darker.
